Getting Around 'Town'

Commute times are one of the most common concerns when PCSing. You have to get on an interstate to get to almost every base, depending on where you live. Our Main Interstate, 64 runs through Southeastern VA through central Virginia and into West VA. Interstate 264 runs all the way from the ocean front through Norfolk and Portsmouth, ending in north western part of Chesapeake. Interstate 564, mainly provides access to Norfolk Naval Station, while interstate 464 provides access from Norfolk through Portsmouth to Chesapeake.
