I have been licensed in Virginia since 2010, specializing in helping financially-distressed homeowners sell their home, especially when they owe more on their mortgage than what the house is  worth (referred to as a short sale). I work directly with their mortgage company, on the homeowner’s behalf, to negotiate a sale price based on current market value, with any shortfall on the mortgage payoff being waived, so that the mortgage deficiency is not owed by the distressed homeowner. I have closed roughly one thousand distressed property sales in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida over the past 14 years.
